Betty Louise Fudge

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Louise Fudge announces her passing which occurred peacefully on January 6, 2022 at Shannex Embassy Hall. Born on March 24, 1950, in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Goodin) Cochrane.

Betty was extremely proud of her two daughters; she loved and cherished her family more than anything. She was a devout Christian, devoted to her faith and was a proud member of Saint John the Baptist Parish. Her family and her friends will always remember her for her love and her smile, which she gave so freely.

Betty is survived by her two daughters Jennifer (Andrew) of Norton, Mary Ann Maria of British Columbia; brother Gerald (Kathleen) of Saint John; sisters Alice (Paul) Leblanc of Saint John, Brenda McOuan of Letete, Dawn (Roland) Hinton of Saint John, best friend Linda Bastarche, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her brothers Charles “Chuck”, Jack; sisters Margaret, Florence and brother-in-law John McOuan.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the staff at Shannex Embassy Hall for their care and compassion shown towards Betty over the years.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. All are welcomed to meet at the cemetery. Due to on the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, seating is limited. Please call 506-646-2424 to RSVP for the service. Proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID is required.
