Bertha Moore

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Bertha (Stanley) Moore, which occurred on Saturday, May 30th, 2026.  Born on June 26th, 1943, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Thorne and Frances Moore.  Bertha was a stay at home mother who loved knitting.  She enjoyed many summers travelling and trailering with her husband Clifford.  Family was most important to her and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Bertha is survived by her son Mike of Mispec; daughter-in-law Rebekah of Saint John; brother Irvine Stanley (Ann Marie) of Saint John; sisters Linda Eastwood (James) of Saint John and Hilda Tryhuba (Jack) of Leduc, AB;  sister-in-law Brenda; grandchildren Julie, Shelby, Devin and Bradley; many great grandchildren; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Bertha was predeceased by her husband Clifford, son Wayne, brother Joseph, sisters Sophia and Marilyn and brother-in-law Ronald.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, June 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Thursday, June 4th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.  Donations in memory of Bertha may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
