Benjamin Jeffrey Yerxa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjamin Jeffrey Yerxa at home surrounded by those he loved on April 18, 2021.  Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Jeffrey and Velma (Fullarton) Yerxa.  As well as his parents, Benjamin is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Yerxa (Pollard); his children:  Cameron Yerxa, and twins:  Noah and Gabriella Yerxa; his sisters:  Amanda Kennedy (Daryll) and Amy Yerxa (Jeff McGrath), all of Saint John; his father-in-law Rev. Fred Pollard (Cheryl) of NFLD; his sister-in-law Rachel Pollard and brother-in-law Matthew Pollard (Melissa), all of ON; as well as by many cherished nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.  Benjamin was predeceased by his special mother-in-law Debra Pollard.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3 (506-646-2424).  Visitation will be held on Friday April 23, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM; the service honoring Benjamin’s life will be held on Saturday April 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM.  Visitation and service will all be held at Mission Point Church, 130 Mark Drive, Saint John, NB.   If you plan on attending the service, it is recommended that you contact Mission Point Church (506-633-0010) to reserve seating as space is limited.  The service will also be streamed live from a link on the church website:  www.missionpoint.ca  Interment will be held in St. George Rural Cemetery.  Donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the IWK Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences are available at:  www.fundyfuneralhome.com
