Belinda Lee Balemans

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Belinda Lee Balemans, beloved wife of Robert Balemans, on April 25th, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

 Belinda was born on June 1st, 1967, in Saint John. She was a teacher, a master’s student, writer, and business owner; whose passion was to help others and brought light to everyone’s lives she came across. She excelled in everything she put her mind to. Belinda was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and an amazing daughter and sister.  

She is survived by her husband, Robert Balemans; daughter Virginia Balemans and son Benton Balemans; her parents Jack and Joan Gosse; two brothers, Robert Gosse (Amber Hennessey), and Christopher Gosse (Tracy Gosse) and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to send their appreciation and thanks to the SICU unit in the Saint John Regional Hospital for their compassionate care. Belinda will be deeply misses by all who knew and loved her and will forever be in our hearts. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at Trinity Anglican Church, 115 Charlotte Street, on from 11am – 1pm. A Celebration of Her Life will follow beginning at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, would be appreciated.
