Beau Cosman Obituary

On Thanksgiving weekend, Beau was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that changed the course of all our lives. Over the next eight months, he faced each day with unimaginable strength, determination, and courage—fighting through pain, healing, and holding onto hope. Despite his resilience and the love that surrounded him, his body grew tired, and he passed away peacefully, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Though his time with us was far too short, he lived life to the fullest and left us far too soon at the young age of 21.

Beau lived with passion and purpose well beyond his years. He embraced life fully—fearless, kind, and always ready with a smile or a helping hand. His generosity knew no bounds. Whether it was his time, his energy, or simply a listening ear, he gave freely and wholeheartedly to everyone around him. He was the true definition of a friend—selfless, dependable, and full of heart.

One of Beau’s goals after having his nerve transfer surgery this past week was to play the piano again—something he knew his mom cherished.

Beau had a deep love and devotion for sports, especially hockey, basketball, and baseball. Whether he was on the ice, the court, or the field, he played with heart and dedication. One of his greatest passions was his annual snowboarding trips to the Rockies—adventures he looked forward to every year, where he felt truly alive.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that his impact will continue to ripple through the lives he touched. His story doesn’t end here—it lives on in all of us.

He is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his parents, Rob and Kim Cosman; siblings and their families: Erika and Frick Wetmore—Bentley, Lincoln, Cooper, McLaren, and Royce; Karissa—Beckham; Rex and Makayla Regenbogen—MollySue; Jake and Meagan—Bruce and Benson; Lauren; Kenzie and Luke Balemans; Annika and Will Richards; Mitch and Amelia MacPhee; and Kloey.

He is also missed by his grandparents, Eleanor and the late Reg Hilchie, Glen and Diann Cosman; as well as his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless loyal friends.

Prayers and Positive thoughts for Beau.
