Barbara Hanson Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Barbara A. Hanson, loving wife of Ronald H. Hanson, wish to announce her passing which occurred on April 16, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a period of declining health. Born in Saint John, November 30, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Guy L. and Marguerite S. (McBride) Mott.

Besides her loving husband Ron, she is survived by her sons: Bruce (Janice), Bliss (Beth), Blayne (Angela) and Brian (Krystle), her siblings; Myrna Ringuette (Jean Claude), Donna Fitzgerald and Gary Mott (Sharon), her grandchildren; Cassandra, Jack, Stephanie (Phil), Adam, Katie, Julia, Quinne, Bailey and Oliver, great-grandson William, along with aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021. There will be a family interment service at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
