Barbara Barry Obituary

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Barbara Marie (Lockhart) Barry which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village on Friday, May 27th, 2022.  Born 1930, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late James and Amelia (Pallen) Lockhart.  Barb was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69 and she enjoyed playing darts.

Barb is survived by her son Gregory Wayne (Rosemary) of Saint John; daughters Lynn Marie Barry-Gibson (Ken) of Woodstock, NB, Karen Ann Walker (Dave) of Saint John, Jane Barry of Saint John; sister-in-law Jean Lockhart of Quispamsis; grandchildren Jason, Dustin and Vincent; great grandchildren Ryan, Rainaja and Kingston; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Barb was predeceased by her husband Art, brothers David, Norman, John, Kenneth and Howard and sisters Virginia, Verna and Jennie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Barb’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.  Donations in memory of Barb may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Bobby’s Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
