Audrey M. Arthurs (McCluskey-Miller)

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Audrey Mary (McCluskey-Miller) Arthurs, which occurred on Friday, June 20th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on August 20th, 1932, in Saint John, NB, she is the daughter of the late Harrison and Gladys (Burns) McCluskey.

Audrey worked as a Nurse for the DVA and Saint John Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit for many years.   She loved to travel with her travelling buddy Sandra as they spent many winters together in Florida.  She enjoyed playing cards, crib, 45’s and bingo.  Audrey was a member of the Red Hats Society,  ACW Kingston Seniors Group and she was a secretary at Bayswater Community Center. 

Audrey is survived by her children John Miller (Kathy) of Bayswater, NB, Joanne Reed (Brian) of Saint John, Lynn Benjamin of Saint John; grandchildren Jonathan, Katlyn, Craig, Brad, Elizabeth, Sarah, Joseph and Emma; great grandchildren Johnnie, Mckenna, Logan, Gabriel, Harrison, Charlotte, Lucas, Thomas and Hugh; special friends Sandra Jefferson and Wilma Buckley; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her 1st husband Meryle Miller, 2nd husband William Arthurs and sister Elizabeth Deleavey.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, June 25th from 11 to 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral in the Fundy chapel beginning at 1 p.m.  A private family interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.  Donations in memory of Audrey may be made to the Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
