Ann Marie Wisted

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ann Marie Wisted, loving wife of Ronald Wisted, announces her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 10, 2020. Born on January 1, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Maillette) Glaspy.

Ann lived her life as a very caring, loving and generous person. She was devoted to her family and friends. Ann spent over 30 years as a School Bus Driver and enjoyed every moment of it. She was always involved in her community and volunteered at the Hope Center.

Ann is survived by her husband Ronald, children; Ron, Stephen (Carrie), Christine Widmer, sisters; Mavis Wisted and Sandra (Fred) Savoie, grandchildren; Michael and Andrew, along with many friends, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her son-in-law Mike Widmer, grandson Shaun Wisted, her brothers; George, Father Jack, Mike, Harold, Roy, Joe and Bill.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland road (646-2424). The Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Physical distancing measures will be followed and mask are strongly recommended.

Remembrances in Ann’s memory may be made towards the Hope Center or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
