Ann Marks Obituary

The Children of Ann Marks would like to share that our Mom passed away peacefully after a long period of failing health. Her passing occurred on the 15th of February at the Kennebec Manor Nursing Home where she had received excellent care for the past 8 years.

Mom was born at home in Moose Mountain, New Brunswick in December 1935 at the height of the Great Depression and lived into her 91st year. She married  our father Clarence Marks in 1955 whom she met while training to be a Licensed Practical Nurse in Sackville, New Brunswick. They were married for 60 Years prior to his passing in April 2015.

Mom and Dad raised the three of us, Brian (Bonnie), Karen (Danny) and David (Cindy ) primarily here in New Brunswick  and mostly in the Saint John area where we still all reside.

Mom believed in Jesus Christ as her Personal Saviour and despite her failing health prayed daily for her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. At the end of every visit she would remind each of us that we were always in her prayers.

Besides her three children Mom is survived by her five grandchildren, Stephanie (Branden) McCormick, Clancy (Tom) Parlee, Jared (Melissa) Gogan, Alexandra (Keagan) Marks, Caileigh (Connor) McKibbon-Green. Four great grandchildren Penny and Alayna McCormick and Lucas and Wesley Parlee. She is also survived by her sisters- in- law Dorothy Foster and Dolly Foster as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides our Father, Mom was predeceased by her parents Tim and Saidie Foster, her brothers Gary and Leonald, her two sisters Leota and Marie and her niece Nola.

We would especially like to thank the staff at Kennebec Manor for providing Mom with Excellent Care, we will always be grateful.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). There will be no visitation or  funeral but a private family service will take place at the time of Internment. In Honor of Mom's niece and our cousin Nola we would ask you to consider any donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
