Angela Dunn Obituary

Angela Catherine (McCormick) Dunn passed away Wednesday April 26th at the Grey Nun’s Community Hospital in Edmonton Alberta after a 3-year courageous battle with Breast Cancer. She was 38 years old.

Angela was born in Saint John New Brunswick and a Graduate of Simonds High School class of 2003.

Angela was a truly special person. Her smile was breathtaking, and her laughter was infectious. Angela's energy could take over a room. A passionate devoted Wife and Mother to Xander, Zavier and Niko. A beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and such a loyal friend to many.

Anyone who spent time with Angela would have memories of her singing and dancing. She was a natural born talker and could engage in conversation with anyone who was willing. It was one of the ways she connected and made an impact on so many peoples lives.

She was a very active person and always wanted to be doing something, whether it was for the kids, with her home-schooling group, the house, our friends, or the online community.

Angela loved to be out in nature with her family and amazing dog Lucas, walks in nature trails, picnics in the parks, camping and especially in the mountains.

Although she may be gone from the physical worlds, we know she is in heaven on a new journey to be a guardian angel to all those she loved so much. She will live on in our hearts and memories. Fly High Angel, we love you.

Angela was a devoted wife to Jonathan Patrick Dunn. They met in the fall of 2005 and through a mutual love of the Band 311 they fell in love. Jon had a planned move to Edmonton Alberta in April 2006 and Angela was not long waiting to join him in June. They began their life together and were married on 311 Day- March 11, 2017.

Angela was The Loving Mother of Xanderiah Jackson (12), Zavier Jonathan (10) and Niko Michael (8).

Angela was the cherished daughter of Catherine Mae (Bevans) and Michael Brian McCormick of Saint John NB. The youngest of 3 children she will be forever missed by her Brother Michael Matthew McCormick and Sister Melissa (Scott) McNamee and nephews Brayden, Logan, and Connor

She is also survived by her Mother-In-Law Carol Ann Dunn (Curtis Webb) and Father-in-Law Paul Allen Dunn. Adam (Carla) Dunn of Saint John and Katie (Ian) Osberg and nephews Simon, Ezra, and Oliver of Fredericton NB

Angela will be forever remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

Angela joins her Paternal Grandparents, Gladys and Willard McCormick and her Maternal Grandparents Ronald and Irma Bevans and her Aunt Anne Cooper in heaven.
