Andre Lambert

It is with sadness the family announce the passing of Andre Lambert who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday March 21, 2022. Born in Caraquet, NB July 13, 1928 he was the son of the late Henri and Julie (Doucet) Lambert.  

Andre was a Carpenter by trade and worked many years in Saint John he enjoyed the outdoors, a good game of pool and tapping his foot to the Old Jamboree. He was known to his grandchildren as “Pippy” and was a proud grandfather.

Andre is survived by his children Andrea Veinot (Brian), Sue Basque (Derik), Camillio Lambert (Lorri), Adeline Roy, Henri Lambert, Joanne Lambert (Eddie), Jacques Lambert (Sharon) and Irene Lambert (Dave); daughter-in-law Lorraine Henry; brother Joseph Lambert; loving and devoted companion Eva and her family; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with his parents, Andre was predeceased by his former wife and friend Annette (Vienneau) Lambert, sons Eddie and Billy Lambert and brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday March 24th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday March 25th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
