Alvin "Johnny" Gallant

It is with great sorrow the family of Alvin "Johnny" Lewis Gallant announces his passing on Monday, December 29, 2025.  Johnny is survived by his daughters Erin (Charlie) Pomeroy, Heather (Marsha) Gallant and Beth Dever, by his siblings David (Claire) Gallant, Bud Clark, Cathy (Gilbert) Burke, Janet (Marty) Stevens, Sue (Cameron) Clark.  Johnny was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.  He will be dearly remembered by his nephew Joe (Aubrie) Gallant as well as many other nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Johnny is predeceased by his parents Ruth and Robert Clark, his brother Bobby Clark, sister Linda Gallant, nephew Rob Clark, brother-in-law Dave Walsh and sister-in-law Maureen Dignard. 

Johnny was a long-time employee for the Coop in Grandbay and worked as bartender for few years.  Johnny's greatest passion was gardening and indoor plants. He liked to  watch western movies, make crafts and go for walks.  Many thanks to the staff of the St. Joseph's Hospital and to Shannex Tucker Hall and Cohen Hall for all their care and support. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  In keeping with Johnny's wishes, cremation has taken place.  For those that wish memorial donations to a charity that is close to your heart would be gratefully appreciated.
