It is with utter devastation and broken hearts that the family of Allison Marie Elliott announce her sudden passing at home on May 19th, 2023.
Allison was born September 9th, 1965, in Saint John to Anne Marie (Kennedy) Elliott and the late Ronald Edward Elliott.
Along with her mother, Allison is survived by her partner of 25 years, Geoff Gorham; sister Melissa Jones (Stephen); nieces Emma and Olivia Jones (Luke Finlay); aunts Irene Gould, Betty Payne and Doreen Bowland; and her fur baby, a black lab named Ace. Allison will forever be remembered through her extended family and friends.
Allison graduated from Simonds High School and Modern Business College, then continued her career in legal admin positions for various law firms in Saint John and most recently at provincial court.
Allison was known for her radiant smile and sense of humor, often described as the life of the party, spreading laughter and joy whenever she was around. She will forever be remembered for her free-spirited personality through her friends and family.
Allison’s family wish to extend a personal thank you to the first responders for their work ethic and compassion shown to them.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Stella Maris Church, 201 Bayside Drive, Saint John, on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery and reception at Fundy Funeral Home.
