Allen McLellan

It is with sadness that the family of Allen Kenneth McLellan announce his passing that occurred on Sunday November 13, 2022 at his residence. Allen was born in Saint John on August 23, 1941 and was the son of the late David and Josephine (Lewis) McLellan.

Allen worked for PCL Eastern in the shipping/receiving department for many years, retiring in 2006. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming and just being one with nature. One of his favourite things to do was take drives in the country. Allen loved bowling with the Buffalo Club and the CNR League. He had a passion for photography and rarely left home without his camera.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jean (Adams) McLellan; daughter Charlene (Thomas) McLellan; son-in-law Rakesh Dhokia; brother Robert (Patricia) McLellan; grandchildren Autumn, Diandra and Devon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Susan and siblings David, Brian, Gary, Judy and Phil.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation being held on Friday November 18, 2022 from 2-6pm. Donations in his memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
