It is with heavy hearts that the family of Allan Millican announces his passing on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 87 years old. Born in Saint John on May 7, 1938, he was the beloved son of the late Robert and Sarah (Nee Driscoll) Millican.
He leaves behind his wife Sandra, after 65 beautiful years spent together; his children, Allan (Nancy), Chris (Joan), Nancy (Dan), Dan (Don) and Debbie; grandchildren Allan (Corinne), Greg (Annie), Mike (Chelsea), Lisa, Melanie (Troy), Stephanie (Corey), Chris (Ashley), Jeremy (Misty), Maria (Matt), Amy (Jacob), Ian (Zahra), Jake (Selina) and Maggie; several great grandchildren; sister Valerie Beyea; close friend and bother-in-law Gary Ewart; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Allan will be remembered for his sense of humour and razor-sharp wit. He always had a smart answer ready. He loved to joke and keep everyone laughing, but beneath the playful teasing was a man who knew exactly how to make each person feel seen and valued. He listened carefully to every story, making you feel like what you said truly mattered. A self-taught carpenter with remarkable woodworking talent, he could build just about anything he set his mind to. His hands created beautiful, lasting pieces that his family will cherish forever.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by a son, James and brothers Robert and Gordon
