Alfreda Eva Tufts

It is with great sadness, that the family of Alfreda Eva Tufts announce her passing on December 23, 2025 at Saint John Regional Hospital In Saint John N.B. Born in Saint John, NB on June 19,1949, she was the wife of her late husband Vincent Aubrey Tufts and the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen ( Craft ) Reed. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister Calvie ( Reed ) O’Brien, brother-in-law David O’Brien and niece Debbie O’Brien.

Alfredas first love was family. She also loved summers, travel and camping. Alfreda loved family get togethers and holidays. Alfreda was a kind soul and a strong woman, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother . She will be forever missed and always lovingly remembered by her daughter Lisa Marlene ( Mark ) McDermott, daughter Teresa Dawn ( Derek ) Stackhouse, son Darren Vincent ( Shauna ) Tufts, her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Survived by brother Bill (Sandra) Reed and Sister-in-law Marlene (Kevin) Forrest.

By request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A service at gravesite to follow at a later date at Browns Cemetery in Bains Corner, NB.
