Albert Schyf

It is with heavy hearts the family of Albert Ferdinand Schyf announces his passing on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Kings Way Care Centre. Born in Netherlands, on July 4, 1944, he was the son of the late Luit and Geertruda (Fischer) Schyf.

Albert is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Schyf; sons Andrew (Ronda), Kevin (Michelle) and Stephen (Christine); brother Edward (Heather); grandchildren Kaleb, Olivia, Clara, Abigail and Julia; brother-in-law Rod Reid, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents, Albert was predeceased by his sister Sonja Edgar and her first husband, Donald Edgar.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). Visitation will be held at Waypoint Church on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from Waypoint Church at 10:00 AM. For those who wish, donations in Albert’s memory to Kings Way Care Centre would be appreciated.
