William Arthur "Bill" Reynolds

 It is with great sadness the family of William Arthur “Bill” Reynolds announce his passing on July 17, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Harold and Evelyn Reynolds. He leaves behind his devoted wife Mary Ellen; daughters Cathy Bettle (Stephen) and Susan Clarke (Rod); son Sean Reynolds (Kira); grandchildren Caitlin (Devin) and Josh Bettle, Livia and Laura Clarke, Bridget, Ella and Gavin Reynolds and one great grandson Wyatt Kilpatrick. Bill graduated from Simonds Regional High School and from Teachers College in Fredericton. He worked at the Oil Refinery for several years and then returned to his teaching career in Quebec and then Saint John until his retirement. Bill enjoyed spending his summers at his summer home with family, grandchildren and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Kinsmen Club of Saint John, Thistle St. Andrew Curling Club and Fundy Trail Snowmobile Club.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday July 19th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann Catholic Church, 135 Simpson Drive on Friday July 20th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s memory can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Society, Palliative Care at the Saint John Regional Hospital or the donor’s choice.
