Walter Peterson Obituary

The passing of Walter F. Peterson of Saint John occurred on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at his residence. Born in Saint John on January 19, 1937, he was a son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Burchill) Peterson. Walter spent most of his career as a truck driver, and enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are his children; Walter “Buddy” (Kathy) Peterson, Wanda Burbridge, Dianne LeBlanc, and Norma-Jean Ahmadi; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, Walter was pre-deceased by his son Scott, and the mother of his children, Phyllis Peterson. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John. In keeping with Walter’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
