With heavy hearts, the family of Wallace Glaspy announces his passing, which occurred on Tuesday, July 30th, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Wallace was born in Leech, NB on July 21, 1954; a son of the late Roy and Lauza (Brideau) Glaspy. Wallace was a Fork Lift Operator for Willett Fruit, and enjoyed buying and selling cars, and was a member of the Golden Gloves Boxing Club. Surviving are his wife, Mary, brothers Raymond (Lauren) and Eddie (Vickie), sisters Irene Ntantis (Nick), Raymonde Stewart, and Gloria Brideau. Along with his parents, Wallace was predeceased by his son, Gaiton. Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service, which will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Friday at 2:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday, August 11th at 11:45 a.m. For those who wish, remembrances to the SJRH Oncology Clinic, the Kidney Foundation, or the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception would be appreciated.
