Wade J. McIntyre

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wade Joseph McIntyre which occurred unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 7th, 2018.  Born 1956, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Edgar and Beatrice (Doucette) McIntyre.  Wade worked as a Foreman for the City of Saint John for over 25 years.  He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and going boating.  He had a great sense of humour and could tell a good joke.

Wade is survived by his son Shane McIntyre (Lacie Anson) of Saint John; daughter Amanda Rogers (Corey) of Bridgewater, NS; brother Rodney McIntyre (Holly Stone) of Rothesay, NB; sister Roma Gigou (Louis) of Nerepis, NB; grandchildren Caleb & Abigail Rogers and Jaidan Anson; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank Lucien Doucette and Lesley Nelson for their care and attention. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Wade’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Celebration of Life reception will be held at Wade’s house on Tuesday, June 12th beginning at 3 p.m.    A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Wade may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
