Viola Webb Obituary

With heavy hearts, the family of Viola Jean Webb announces her passing, which occurred on January 22nd, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Viola was born on January 7th, 1955; a daughter of the late Ross and Winona (Campbell) Charlton, and the loving wife of Phillip Webb. Along with her husband Phillip, Viola is survived by her sons John and Tim, daughters Marsha Thorne and Kelly Webb-Abbott (Aaron), brother Allen, sisters Minnie Belanger (Rheal), Marilyn Charlton (Danny), and Christine Gillett (Stephen), and grandchildren Fallon, Tiffany, Jonathan, and Jacob Webb. In addition to her parents, Viola was pre-deceased by a sister, Winona O’Donnell, brothers Melburn “Beaver” Charlton (Terri), Ross Charlton, and sister-in-law Elaine Charlton (Kelly). The family would like to thank Dr. Gray, Dr. Campbell and the SJRH Oncology Department. They would also like to thank the 3BN Palliative Care nursing staff, as well as Dr. Julia Wildish and the other Palliative Care doctors for their care and compassion. In keeping with Viola’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
