With heavy hearts, the family of Viola Mildred (Urquhart) Nauldrett announces her passing, which occurred at her residence on Thursday, January 4th, 2018. Viola was a daughter of the late Beecher and Lillian (Abbot) Urquhart.
Viola worked at T.S. Simms until her retirement in 1980. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Viola was a founding member of the Saint John chapter of the Parkinson Society, she was diagnosed with the disease in 1978. Although battling with Parkinsons since 1978, Viola never let it get her down, being strong willed and determined. Always seeing the positive side of things and bring light to darkness.
Viola is survived by her loving husband Elmer and their son Dwayne (Mathieu), two brothers Hazen (Joyce), Glendon (Carmel) and sister Kathleen (John) Hames. She will be remembered by her two special friends Evie and Nancy.
In addition to her parents, Viola was predeceased by her infant son Dwight Anthony and brothers, Garfield and Walter.
Arrangements entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with a celebration of Viola’s life being held on Monday, January 8th, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the former St. Joachim’s Church.
Memorial donations may be placed towards the Parkinson’s Society or a charity of your choice.
