Terry C. Humphrey

With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Terry Christopher Humphrey, surrounded by his loving family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 after a lengthy battle with liver disease.  Born 1989, in Saint John, he is the son of Patricia Dalling of Garnett Settlement and Gary Humphrey (Patricia) of Bloomfield. 

Along with his parents, Terry is survived by his sisters Hannah and Cecilia Humphrey of Bloomfield; maternal grandfather Edward “Teddy” Dalling of Garnett Settlement.; paternal grandparents Kenneth and Irene Humphrey of Bloomfield; aunt Sandra Dalling (Ken) of Willow Grove; uncles Andrew Dalling (Shelly) of Rothesay, Steven Humphrey (Paula) of Bloomfield; cousins Mitchell Mailman (Kayla) of Garnett Settlement, Anthony Mailman (Brittany) of Garnett Settlement, Jerrit Northrup (Lindsey) of Bloomfield, Brandon Humphrey (Dylan) of Belleisle Creek, Nicole Humphrey of Saint John; as well as many friends.  Terry was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Doreen and his uncle Terry. 

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the SJRH Palliative Care Unit as well as the nursing staff in Halifax.  Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, June 4th from 4 to 8 p.m.  A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, June 5th at 7 p.m. Donations in memory of Terry may be made to the Liver Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
