It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Susan Mary Joan (McQuade) Holland which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, May 18th, 2018. Born 1957, in Saint John, she is the daughter of Colleen (Burke) and the late Milton McQuade. Susan worked as a receptionist at Harris & Roome for 10 years. She loved boating on the Saint John River, camping at Hardings Point Campground, and spending time in Nackawic. Susan enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Caribou Snow Drifters.
Susan is survived by her loving and devoted husband Martin of 42 years; son Alan Holland (Natilie) of Grand Bay Westfield; brother Darrell McQuade of Saint John; sisters Maureen Small (David) of Kingston, Belinda McQuade (Tim Ford) of Quispamsis, Christine Briggs (Eldon) of Rossville, 9 nieces and nephews; and many friends. Besides her father, Susan was predeceased by her sister in law Tracey Fox-McQuade.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation being held on Monday, May 21st, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, May 22nd at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Susan may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
