Robert Loeman

With heavy hearts the family of Robert “Bobby” Patrick Loeman announces his passing that occurred on Saturday July 14, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1936 in Saint John, he was the son of the late James and Vera (DeWolfe) Loeman. After an engagement of 49 years he married his fiancé, Mary Hovey the day before his passing. Bobby was an active member of First United Pentecostal Church where he served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Hovey as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Hartley, William, Ronnie, Arnold, John, James and Hazen and sisters Nancy Page, Margaret Crouse, Vivian Daley and Connie Hickes.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. on Monday and Tuesday July 16 & 17 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Mission Point Church, 130 Mark Drive on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
