Robert Emery Adams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Emery Adams at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 2, 2017.  He was the son of the late Ralph and Edith (Henderson) Adams.

He is survived by his wife Loraine, son; Michael Paul (Beth), daughter; Sandra Lynn, 3 grandchildren; Gregory (Stephanie), James (Misty) and Benjamin, 2 great grandchildren; Brianne and Landon, one sister; Elaine (Alfie) Smith, nephews, nieces and very best friends Ross and Jean Anthony.  He was predeceased by his parents and son David. 

In the past he was active in the church as Treasurer and Financial Secretary and he volunteered at the East Saint John Food Bank.  He loved to bowl for years for the Good Time League.  In his early years he was a member of the AAIC of Canada and he was appraiser for the City of Saint John and the Province of New Brunswick for 38 years. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Visitation will be  held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Forest Hills Baptist Church (36 Mountain Road).  A funeral service will be held from the Church on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11am with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  The family would like any donations to be made to the East Saint John Food Bank, Forest Hills Church or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
