It was impossible to be in Rita's presence and not have a good laugh.....even when her wit was wickedly sharp and pointed in one's direction : ). Rita was many things to many people , but forgettable was not one those things. We were the same age and cousins so we grew up together; as adults we lost touch.... I regret that.

I am very sorry to be reading about the passing of your mom and dear grandmother. I met Rita years ago when I worked at the Lancaster Mall. I picked up on that P.E.I. accent of hers right away, and from that day on every time I would see her, I would call her Miscouch and she would call me Tignish,( where my dad was from). She told me exactly where her dad and mom lived and I would pass it every year on my visits to my relatives. She had a great spirit about her and I will miss running into her. My sincerest condolences to all of you. Blessings L.
