My heart is aching, and I am so deeply hurt that I just found out about Reginald's passing away. I was his art teacher. Reg called me this summer and I was in the middle of something and I asked him if i could call him right back. I got busy and didn't and I am so sorry. Reg gave me with a brilliant manifesto one day about his life that he wrote to me and I shared with the classes often and acknowledge Reg. He came to art later in life but as I said to him its not how we start the race but how we finish. Reg was sincerely talented. For all to read this is Reg:

A new beginning has been suggested after the recent passing of my wife and sister.
Relevant to this that I have had difficulty in acheiving a helpful view of my core values.

I have felt that one's life needs to be guided by what one truly believes to be personally important.

I now am beginning to realize that one's needs to be more pragmatic in the present and foreseeable circumstances.

I am very interested in developing my artistic abilities by means of the Art Mama classes and group.

On behalf of all the senior art students, until we meet again, we will miss you in class Reg. Our deepest sympathy to Reg's family and Special Care Home where Reg lived.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Dencer. I had the great fortune of meeting Mr. Dencer when I worked At UNB. Mr. Dencer was someone who loved books and the pursuit of knowledge. He was a true gentleman and was very thoughtful. He was one of those people whom I often wondered about how they were doing. He left an imprint on me and others I am certain. My deepest condolences on his passing. His memory will remain for me each time I read a book on science.

Thank you very much for the beautiful words about my Father. He was a man who had a passion for learning especially about the sciences, the universe and self-improvement. Fortunately, he was able to indulge in his passions right up until the end of his life. Thank you for sharing your story about Dad!

My sincere condolences to all the family. I met the Dencers while working in Sears Menswear a few years ago. Whenever they came in, I was so touched by their kindness -- especially Mr. Dencer. I am so sorry for your loss.
