Rebecca Gay Flogeras

The family of Rebecca Gay Flogeras is deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing, which occurred at her residence on July 10, 2017. Born on August 9, 1951, in Watertown, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Elmer Marler and the late Dolly (née Kelley) Marler.

Rebecca was strong-willed, enthusiastic, patient, eternally young at heart, and had a vibrant personality. She was warm, funny, and wise, and her advice was always greatly appreciated by her children. She loved being among friends as well as her work with children in the school system.

Rebecca is survived by her father; her daughters, Christina (née Flogeras) Varner (Joshua) and Jenna Flogeras; her son, Mike Flogeras; and her grandson, Zachary Varner. 

In addition to her mother, Rebecca is predeceased by her sister, Margaret Marler.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), with a celebration of Rebecca's life being held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2pm. The family will receive visitors from 12noon until service time. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
