Pierrette Helene (Mailloux) Peters

It is with great sadness the family of Pierrette Peters of Kings Way Care Centre announce her passing, which occurred on Sunday August 26, 2018 at Kings Way Care Centre with her family at her side. Born in Montreal on January 21st of 1926, she was the daughter of the late Phillipe and Marguerite (Dumas) Mailloux. Pierrette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching and adored cats. Pierrette is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lynn and David Ripley of Baie Verte, NB ; three cherished grandsons Harry Ripley (Tanya), Andrew Ripley (Morgan Stewart) and William Ripley; 2 precious great-grandchildren Gracie and Chandler; two sisters Gilda Hornby of Toronto, ON and Connie White of Brossard, QC nieces, nephews Jim, Pierre, Barry, Michele, Holly and Esther. Along with her parents Pierrette was predeceased by her husband Glendon Trevor Peters, granddaughter Olivia Ripley, nephew Robert Hornby, niece Carole Hornby and brother-in-law John Hornby.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A Graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Extension on Wednesday August 29th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral procession to leave the Fundy Funeral Home at 10:40 a.m. Donations in Pierrette’s memory can be made to Kings Way Care Centre.
