Peter William Sorensen

The death of Mr. Peter William Sorensen of Shanklin Settlement, loving husband of Catherine (Graves) Sorensen, occurred on Thursday August 5, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1909 in Cody's, NB, he was the son of the late Fritz and mother Elva (Keirstead) Sorensen.

Besides his loving wife Catherine, he is survived by one son Phillip of St. Martins, one daughter Nancy MacDonald (Jim) of St. Martins, one-step son Gary Burchill of Alberta, six grandchildren; Karen, Jamie, Peter, Julia, Shaye and Janet, one great grandchild, Ryan, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Jacob Sorensen and several half brothers and half sisters.
