CANNON, Patrick Leslie
March 12, 1938 – November 28, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our most loving brother Patrick, who passed away peacefully in his home on November 28, 2017. Patrick was predeceased by his parents, Claire and Milton Cannon, his brother, Joseph Cannon (Marie); sisters Vivien (Sterling), Phyllis (Dave, Frank), Elizabeth (Peter), and Joyce (in infancy). He is survived by sisters Hilma (Donald) of NB, Dorothy (Glen) and Adera (Tony), both of NS; brothers Charles (Joan) of NS and Wendell (Betty) of PEI. Patrick was a member of the Coast Guard with the Department of Transport for a long and distinguished career. He was an avid sports fan, and played many sports when he was younger. Patrick was very proud of his Irish heritage, and will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention. He was a kind and generous man, loved by all. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joseph’s Church, 4347 Loch Lomond Road on Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m, with a reception to follow in the H.O.P.E Centre. All are welcome. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
