It is with broken hearts and tremendous sadness, the family of Patricia Ann Bailey, announce her passing. Tricia was born on January 8, 1970 in Saint John, NB, the youngest daughter of Ernest and Joy (Bishop) Bailey.
Including her parents, Tricia was predeceased by her grandparents, Ernest and Grace (Copp) Bailey and Thomas Henry and Mary Ann (Nichols) Bishop, England.
Tricia was loved by all who came to know her and inspired us with her unconditional love. She had an amazing gift to win others over with her humour and open loving spirit. Of course, she was the “deal maker” of all time. She taught us and everyone she met about the ‘fun” and “simple” pleasures of life – yet on the other hand, Tricia would tell you like it was!
She had a strong passion for music, she loved to sing all genres and if she didn’t know all of the words (which was rare) she would adlib as well as any Oscar winning actress.
Tricia attended school since the age of 6 and went on to graduate the life-skills program from St. Vincent’s High School. She loved to bowl, go for drives, watch TV, dance and listen to her music and also participated in summer camps, church functions and Special Olympics.
Survived by her brothers Andrew Bailey (Debbie) and Wayne Bailey (Linda) and sisters Wendy McCumber (John) and Cyndi Bailey Moore, nieces; Nicole, Lisa, Angela, Andrea, Alison, Katie and Sue, nephews; Rob and Adam, several aunts, uncles, cousins and her extended loving family at Centracare.
Tricia will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 between the hours of 6-8pm continuing on Friday, January 25th from 9am until service time at 10am in the Fundy Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations towards MindCare New Brunswick Inc. or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
