It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Norman Joseph Parisien on April 4, 2019 at his home. He was born in Saint John, NB on December 15, 1962 to Joseph (Darwood) Parisien and the late Jennie (London) Parisien.
Norman was a scaffolder by trade, working in various labor and carpentry sites over many years. He was a very outgoing person who liked to ride his scooter around town or just go for walks around town meeting people. Norm had an uncanny ability to remember faces and while he seemed to know everyone, everyone also seemed to know him. He was a very giving person and a jokester and will be remembered forever for his very unique laugh. Norm was one in a million and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his father Joseph, his brother Daniel (Suzanne), sisters; Sharon (Bradley) Grozik and Brenda (Barry) Parisien- Allen, along with several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his mother Jennie, he was predeceased by his two brothers; Robin and David.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 9-10am. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel immediately following visitation at 10am. For those who wish, memorial donations made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
