It is with heavy hearts, the family of Norman “Nubby” Simon LeBlanc, husband of Candace (Renshaw) LeBlanc, announces his unexpected passing which occurred on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Born in Saint John, NB on February 8, 1954 he was the son of the late Simon and Louise (Sonier) LeBlanc.
Norman worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Gulf Operators and Galbraith Construction. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Candace he is survived by his sons Bradly LeBlanc (Cathy) and Geoffery LeBlanc; cherished grandchildren Mary Deschenes and Mason LeBlanc; brother Robert “Bob”LeBlanc; sisters Sandra McCarthy (James) and Rena Smith (Paul); feline companion Precious; childhood and best friend David Thornton; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 9 a.m. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Norman may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
