The family of Norma Phyllis (Sewell) Edwards, loving wife of the late David (Bud) George Lawrence Edwards, announces her peaceful passing that occurred on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born April 23rd, 1925 in Saint John, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harold and Eva (Matthews) Sewell. In her earlier years, Norma was employed with Red Rose Tea where she met many lifelong friends. She is survived by her brother Douglass Sewell of Saint John; sister-in-law Jean Hamblin of Penn Buckinghamshire , England; nieces and nephews Brian (Anne Marie) Sewell, Diane (Tom) Simmons and David (Valerie) Sewell; great nephews and nieces Tracey Sewell, Tara (Tony) Bahadur, Christopher Sewell, Patti (Charles) Oram and Kevin (Allison) Sewell, her niece and nephews in England; Claire Howes, Paul Hamblin, Robert Hamblin and Michael Hamblin; several great nieces and nephews in England; her dearest friend Fran Gabel and many caring extended family and friends. Norma will be forever loved and missed by all.
Norma was predeceased by her sister in-law Theresa (Tess) Sewell and brother in-law Trevor Hamblin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. A Celebration of Norma's Life will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday July 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
