Nicole "Nicky" Frances Knudson

January 9, 1986 ~ October 23, 2017 (age 31) 31 Years Old

Nicole “Nicky” Frances Knudson, a loving daughter, sister and aunt; died unexpectedly on October 23rd, 2017 at the age of 31 in a car accident in Edmonton Alberta. Nicole is survived by her loving mom Sandra Joye Clark (Cordell), twin sister Amanda Joye and baby sister Stevi Dawn Knudson, two nieces Ella Jenavie Neil and Porter London England, her beloved dog Chloe, grandfather Mike Watson (Jeanette) and cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. She was pre-deceased by her dad "Papason" Steven Knudson in 2013.

Nicole was born in Saint John NB on January 9th 1986 to Steven and Sandra Knudson (Clark). She attended grade school in Quispamsis and graduated from CompuCollege in 2006. She initially worked in at a physio clinic and then went to work as a broker for Heustis Insurance. Following her heart, this career lead her to Edmonton Alberta in 2009 where she worked for Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers Ltd.  After insurance, she worked for Aecon Construction as an Estimating Coordinator and more recently at All Weather Windows as a Project Coordinator.

Nicole was an extremely loving and caring person who loved nature and hiking with her beloved Chloe. Nicole was fun loving and loved to laugh and loved to hug everyone. She was an energetic force who accumulated many friends along her travels. Nicole was the type to always be there for a friend or family member in need. She took great pride in being loyal and honest to everyone she met. She was a fiercely proud aunt and protective of her family and shared an unbreakable bond with her Mom and both sisters Amanda and Stevi. Nicole could light up any room with her charming one dimpled smile and witty sense of humour. She was strong willed and determined. Always trying to see the positive side of things and bring light to the darkness. Nicole enjoyed life and loved all those she had in hers. She was one of a kind and shared great memories with friends in Edmonton and in Saint John. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her as she was taken far too soon from this earth.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday November 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday November 4th at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Private family burial at a later date. Donations in Nicole’s memory can be made to the SPCA or to the Edmonton Humaine Society.
