Nancy Ann (Cail) Wilson Obituary

It is with extreme sadness and a massive sense of loss that the family of Nancy Ann (Cail) Wilson announce her passing on September 8, 2018 after complications following surgery 10 days earlier.Nancy was born January 13, 1950 in Moncton, NB.   She was pre-deceased by her parents Lorne and Elverna Cail. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Darrell Wilson of Quispamsis, NB and sons, of whom she was very proud, Andrew Wilson (Christine) of Saint John, Peter Wilson (Katherine) of Saint John and Stephen Wilson (Jennifer) of Quispamsis.

Nancy will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren who were the joy of her life.  Andrew's children Michaela Matheson and Keagan, Peter's children Addyson, Marcus and Lukas and Stephen's daughter, Elianna.

Nancy is also survived by her siblings Ron Cail of London, ON, Ross Cail (Ruby) of Sarnia, ON, Myrtle Thompson of Sackville, NB, and Bill Cail (Sherry) of Moncton, NB and many nieces, nephews and friends. Nancy was a stay at home Mom.  She wanted to be there for her children and she was.  She did such a fine job raising her own children that friends and neighbors began having her take care of their children for them. The important things in Nancy's life were her family first and her faith in Jesus second.   This was shown on Sundays when the family went to church together followed by Sunday dinner together.   As her sons married and introduced grandchildren the size of our Sunday dinners increased.  Her major concern on Saturday was what will I feed the family for Sunday dinner.

Darrell's desire to travel took Nancy on several bus tours to the US. She also took 7 cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska and the Holy Land.  As health concerns began to increase, Nancy decided that she would rather stay close to home rather than face medical complications while traveling.

Nancy loved family gatherings.  The last one she attended was at Mactaquac Provincial Park where the whole family gathered to celebrate Andrews’s birthday on August 25th of this year.  She loved playing games with her grandchildren and attending their ball games, hockey games, soccer games and dancing programs.

Nancy was involved in the children's ministry at Kings Valley Wesleyan Church for many years touching the lives of hundreds of children.

Visitation for Nancy will be on Wednesday, September 12th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.  At Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John.   A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from Kings Church, 332   Hampton Road, Quispamsis, NB   followed by interment in Fernhill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made to the Kings Church Children's Ministry in memory of Nancy.
