Beth and Monica,
My sincere condolences to both of you. Your parents were friends and supportive to both of my parents, Jim and Verna Thompson, through Silver Falls United Church and as neighbours in Champlain Heights. Your dad helped my mother with small repairs around her home when my dad was no longer there. I have known your parents and you since you were little girls, as your baby sitter. My thoughts are with you.

To the family we are deeply sorry for the loss of you're beloved one Murray. I do not know the family but I got to know Murray through his work when he would come to the house for repairs or out on a cold winter's day working on telephone lines across from our house & I would always have a warm coffee or drink for him & sweets. He was a very nice kind man we always had a nice chat & he would go back out in the cold to work. Murray sure knew his work & always did a great job we are truly sorry for you're loss of such a wonderful man. You are in our thoughts & prayers .R.I.P. Murray,

Dear Beth,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved father. Having never met him, the obituary speaks volumes about the character of the man. He sounds like he was a wonderful influence on his family and his long marriage has obviously had a strong influence on you with you mega long relationship with your own husband. That's quite a legacy. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

To Beth and Monica and your families -my sincere sympathy. I expect your Dad has been waiting to go since your Mom passed away as he would have been lost without her. You will all be missing him now too. I know the empty feeling that comes when your second parent dies, even when it has been expected. Thinking of you in sympathy and caring.

Dear family
I wish to extend my condolences for the loss of your father. Your Dad and Mom were so kind and generous. My sister was dying in the hospital and your parents would pick me up at my home or take me straight from Church to the Hospital. God always puts angels on our path when we need them the most and your parents certainly were angels. I will miss the warmth and sincere happiness they always greeted people with in Church. May God Bless you and walk close beside during this time of mourning. They are not gone, only away. Sharon Maguire

Sending our heartfelt condolences to Monica and Beth and the extended family. Murray was a gentleman in every way. It was easy to see his love for Evelyn and for his girls. I can remember his fondness for his Ford half ton trucks and how particular he was in keeping them shiny and well serviced. He loved to talk about salmon fishing and made the most beautiful flys. Murray walked tall and cast a very large shadow full of love and loyalty to all who knew him.
We are sorry that we are unable to attend the funeral or visitation as we are in Florida for the winter. You will be on our hearts and in our prayers.
