Mitzi Beatrice Landry

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mitzi Beatrice Landry which occurred on April 1, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Mitzi was the daughter to the late Don Sadler and Jane Landry.

Mitzi was a very happy-go-lucky person who enjoyed telling jokes and hearing people laugh.  She was a good soul.  She enjoyed her crossword puzzles and her games of solitaire, took great pride in her three grandchildren and loved her cat, Bella.  She will be deeply missed.   

She is survived by her partner of 7 years Gary Storey; daughter Giselle, three grandchildren; Devin, Bailey, William, sisters; Simone, Shirley and Anita, brothers Edmund (Annie) and Steven (Tammy), as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mitzi was predeceased by her parents and grandparents and brother-in-law, Bill Yeo.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-6 pm.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm with interment to follow in Fernhill Cemetery.   A reception will be held at Bernadine’s house (Gary’s sister) at 2319 Loch Lomond Road following the interment.  For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
