Melanie Marie Chevarie

The passing of Melanie Marie Chevarie occurred peacefully on Thursday May 10, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1944 in St. Charles, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Justine (Legere) Chevarie. Melanie enjoyed playing cards at the Loch Lomond Villa, she loved cars and taking long drives.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Melanie is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Ben, Yvon, Ted and Roger and a sister Anita.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Sunday May 13 2018 from 2-4 p.m. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday May 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice.
