Mary McMurray-Wilkins

Mary McMurray-Wilkins of Passekeag, N.B, passed away on May 30, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born October 21, 1952 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Raymund S. McMurray and Florence (Johnson) McMurray.

Mary is survived by her three sisters; Patricia Sanborn (Joseph), Joan Martin (Bruce), Michelle Hodgson (Arthur), one brother George (Dean, deceased) and one very special friend Barbara Neil as well as several nieces and nephews.

Adventurous and full of life, Mary could often be seen wandering around with her camera taking pictures of just about anything she deemed worthy. Her artworks of wildlife were beyond amazing and were truly “works of art” right down to the most minute detail. She loved to read books, and work outdoors on her property in Passekeag. She dearly loved her dog “Abby” and her cat “Boxer”.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Jeremy Wilkins, her brother Paul McMurray, and her sister-in-law Dean McMurray.

Arrangements under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home. As per Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place and a private family service and burial will be held at a later date.
