Mary Anne Byrne

With heavy hearts, the family of Mary Byrne announces her passing, which occurred at home on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018. Mary was born in Saint John on July 18, 1958; a daughter of Therese (Barry) and the late J. George Byrne. She is survived by her son, Julian Pottle (Shanta Regis), siblings Liz Byrne-Zwicker (Malcolm), John Byrne (Lisa), Monica Byrne (Kamal), sister-in-law Margo Beckwith-Byrne, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her father, Mary was pre-deceased by her brothers J. George Jr., and Patrick. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Although there will be no visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, on Saturday at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
