Margaret Elizabeth (Allen) Price

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Elizabeth (Allen) Price, loving wife of the late James Price, announces her passing on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Turnbull Nursing Home. Born October 1, 1939 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Mildred (Carr) Allen.

Margaret spent her working career as a Psych Attendant at the Old Centracare.
She was devoted to the love of her life Papa Jim and her children, there was nothing that gave her more pleasure then to cook for and to be surrounded by her family. Mom’s faith was renewed when she met Pastor Walter Perry and the Saint John First Wesleyan Church.

She will be greatly missed by her children; Kevin McAulay (Carol), James McAulay (Sheri), Linda (James) Fougere, Janice (Ray) Bottonfield and Stacy (Clare) Lobbozzo, son in-law, Jeff Wall, daughter in-law, Darlene Black, brother Reginald (Marg), sister in-law Marion and brother in-law Andy. As well as, 31 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and one special great grandchild on the way.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret is predeceased by her children; Gail Black, Brenda Hanlin and Kelly Wall, son in-law Kevin D. Hanlin, brother Douglas Allen and sister Anne Stephen.

Our family wishes to thank Mom’s family at the Turnbull Nursing Home for their care, compassion and love shown both towards her and our family throughout the last few years.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 starting at 3:00PM followed by a celebration of Margaret’s life at 5:00PM from the Fundy Chapel.
