Malvin "Mal" Good

 It is with great sadness the family of Malvin announce his passing which occurred at home on Tuesday September 4, 2018. Born in New Mills, NB on July 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Adrian and Margaret (MacGregor) Good.  Mal worked for the Maintenance Department at the Loch Lomond Villa for over 25 years; he retired in 2009. A member of the Quispamsis Island view Lions Club, active in community coaching baseball in Willow Grove and the LLV Selects. He was the Past President of the Union for LLV. Mal enjoyed baseball, hockey and bird watching. His greatest treasures were his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Synthia Good and former spouse and good friend Eleanor Good; children Terry Good of Iqaluit, NU, Derrick Good (Bonnie) of Rothesay, Kevin Good (Laura) of Quispamsis, Pamela Belding (Dave) of Richmond Hill, ON, Tracy Modeste of Calgary, AB and Dale Good (Jill) of Saint John; precious grandchildren Amanda (Brad), Tyler, Tiffany, Adrian, Jerrod, Matthew, Dylan, Akyah, Anders, Darron, Ainsley and Jane; one great-grandson Liam; sisters Shelley Ouellette (Paul) of Norton and Henrietta McGrath (Peter) of Willow Grove; brother John Good (Bev) of Hampton ; sisters-in-law Bev Good and Betty Good; several nieces, nephews and friends; feline friend Willie and canine companion Gertie.

Along with his parents, Malvin was predeceased by brothers Keith, Ralph, Jim, Cleave and Scott in infancy; sisters June and Margaret and canine companion Betsey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Quispamsis Island view Lions Club, 9 Market Street, Quispamsis, NB on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Malvin’s memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Dialysis Unit of the SJRH.  To send a message of condolence please visit www.fundyfuneralhome.com
