Louis Francis Muise

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Louis Francis Muise on August 27, 2017 at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Saint John, NB on December 28, 1938 to the late Joseph and Mary (Lowe) Muise.

Louis was employed by Dowd’s Roofing working in the roofing and construction field, and really enjoyed his work.  He was a devoted family man, who adored his son, sisters and brothers.  He was known for his sense of humor and wit.  Louis liked to joke around and tease people; he liked to get a reaction.  He was a very caring man who really enjoyed his life.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing horseshoes, fishing and bowling.  He was taken too soon and he will be deeply missed.

Louis is survived by his son Matthew Muise, his brother Martin Muise, 3 sisters; Bertha Bennett, Genevieve Dugas and Margaret Dempsey, as well as several nieces and nephews, and special and caring nieces Patricia Ellis and Heather MacDonald.  Along with his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers; Walter and Joseph and his sister Joan Frigault.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6-8pm.  In keeping with Louis’ wishes, no funeral service will be held.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
