Lois May (Saunders) McMahon

McMahon, Lois May, of Quispamsis, NB, passed away on October 31, 2019 after a short period of ill health at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on December 19, 1933 in Wells, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Annie (Young) Saunders and was the wife of the late Gordon McMahon.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie (John White) Kellar, Donna (John) Dobbin, Bonnie (Behnam) Yazdani; son David (Jackie) McMahon, grandchildren, Sarah (Jon), Rebecca (Andrew), John Jr. (Sarah), Shannon, Charlene, Merissa (Josh Marr) and Justin; great grandchildren, Anderson and Phoebe; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Harry and Chester Donald Saunders.

She was a housewife and mother and a long-time member of St. Augustine’s Anglican Church in Quispamsis.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8pm.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11am from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church (239 Quispamsis Road) with interment to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stock Farm Road.   For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
