Lauren M. Atherton

With heavy hearts, the family of Lauren May Atherton announce her passing on Thursday, August 30th, 2018.  Born 1993, in Saint John, she is the daughter of Shelley (Langlais) and Michael Atherton.  Lauren worked for GDI Cleaners and she enjoyed working out at the gym.  She was very active and loved spending time outdoors hiking and snow shoeing.  She was an animal lover and she adored her dog Coco. 

Along with her parents, Lauren is survived by her siblings Katlyn Atherton (Bill), Brittany Atherton (Ryan) and Luke Atherton (Keila) all of Saint John; nieces Scarlett and Savana; nephews Logan, Brody and Ben; grandparents Irene Johnson (Clay) and Ruth Langlais; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Lauren was predeceased by her grandfathers Roger Langlais and Frederick Atherton    

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Private services will be held at a later date.  Donations in memory of Lauren may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
